During our visit to Schaumburg Toyota, we worked with several staff members. Working with the salesperson, Derek Gniadek, was a very unusual experience. He made us laugh, didn’t pressure us, and pushed the process along so it was as quick as possible. I wasn’t sure if we were dealing with a car salesman or a stand-up comic! I walked in expecting a headache and walked out laughing with a beautiful truck. Working with Derek was truly refreshing. Jerry McDuffie was also an extremely knowledgeable salesman. He took the time to explain all the various features on the vehicle and helped me set it all up. He was very personable and made me feel very comfortable. Even the management team, Joe Shoemaker and Igor Mett, took the time to help us and ensure we found exactly what we wanted, even though it was hard to locate. They never pressured us and checked in throughout the process to ensure we were happy. This is the first time we’ve ever had a fantastic car-buying experience. When we're ready for our next vehicle, we’ll definitely come back here!

Rafael Sanchez reluctantly approached and tried to understand by issue of the front camera not functioning as expected. I only recently had purchased my 2023 4Runner used with Toyota Certified Warranty- I was assured this would be something covered so I wasn't worried. However, because I was from out of state, Rafael took that context to deny me any assistance. He claimed it would be "a lot of phone calls and probably take a long time to get parts if it's even covered" which should be up to the customer to decide honestly. I assured him I would be in town long enough and he just refused and said I should take it back to the original dealer, which was at no point what I'd expect when I just paid so much money for a new, albeit used, car under warranty. He also mentioned it's not a critical item so it's fine to just keep using the car. This is an infuriating experience I've never been so baffled. Just because dealing with your corporate warranty department is a headache, does not give you the right to deny service when I am under said warranty. Horrible impression. Further, when customer care reached out saying I missed my appointment ( I didn't) I explained the situation again, hoping anyone would care enough to make it right without me chasing them down. Unfortunately not, the nice gal who replied to my email said she was passing the info along to Mike Krueger so he can personally follow up. Surprise, complete silence. Terrible experience over all, unfortunately looks like this is a trend in the area so still on the hunt for a service department that won't be so lazy or dismissive.

Had a great first service experience here. My assigned advisor, Patrick Jost, truly lived up to what an "advisor" means: frequent communication, guidance throughout the process, and thorough explanations to avoid any surprises. I have an 8 week old 2026 RX 350H with 1100 miles on her. This is my first Lexus, and my first "luxury" car. I looked on their website and found Tammie Sage and also saw that she had favorable reviews. Boy did I strike GOLD! She was wonderful to work with! She is very personable and spent quite some time with me in her office getting to know me. I appreciated the extra time she spent and then getting the service done in less time than she told me it would take. The Dealership is beautiful and they offer a very nice waiting room with a custom coffee machine, water and snacks. Seating is comfortable and there is a TV to help pass the time.
